Gallery

We have reworked our gallery with more photos and easier browsing!

Over the years we have gone through so many challenges and changes that it has been hard to keep up with all the excitement! As you can imagine working with 40 acres of raw land is a lot of work, add on top of that the care and maintenance of the dogs and the organization of the Sled Dog Sanctuary itself. With only two full time staff members to carry the weight it has been quite the challenge!

This year (2015) marks a beautiful change, not only in the expansion of the Sanctuary itself, but in the generous amounts of volunteer hours and the special attention given by strangers to our shiest rescue cases. This extra attention changes the dogs lives in ways we cannot possibly describe, bringing out even the shiest of dogs from their shells as they advance on their way to becoming healthy, happy individuals.

We would like to thank each and every one of you who donated funds, labor and time to our cause! THANK YOU!
